How to Submit Your 10DLC Registration
To ensure compliance with carrier regulations and successfully register your 10DLC campaign, follow the steps outlined below.
Step 1: Complete the Registration Form Visit the official OneCloud 10DLC Registration page and fill out the required information: 10DLC Registration Form
Ensure all information is accurate and consistent with your business details.
Step 2: Provide a Publicly Accessible Website
Your business must have a website that is publicly accessible. This site should contain your Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions to comply with vetting requirements.
Important: If your campaign mentions opt-in collected via a website, you must provide a direct link to the opt-in page.
Step 3: Include a Clear Call to Action (CTA)
A well-defined CTA is essential for approval. It must describe how users opt in to receive messages. The opt-in process must be explicit, direct, and specific to text messaging.
Examples of acceptable opt-in methods:
- Website form submission: Users enter their phone number and check a box agreeing to receive texts.
- Keyword opt-in: Users text a keyword (e.g., START) to a specific number.
- Point-of-sale (POS) sign-up: Customers opt in while making a purchase.
- Verbal opt-in: Must include a documented script used by your team.
Step 4: Opt-Out and Help Messaging Requirements
Every campaign must include clear opt-out instructions. Users should be able to opt out by replying STOP, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or END.
Example:
"Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Msg & data rates may apply."
Additionally, a HELP message must be included, directing users to customer support.
Example:
"Reply HELP for support or visit [your website/contact page]."
Example Opt-out message: Acceptable opt-out language must include at least one of the following words: END, STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL. If you’re using an opt-out phrase, it must be separated by spaces (i.e., STOP2END is not acceptable; it should be STOP 2 END). Please make sure that at least one of your sample messages shows your opt-out.
Example:
"[Insert Business Name:] You have an appointment for Tuesday at 3:00 PM, reply YES to confirm, NO to reschedule. Reply STOP to unsubscribe."
Step 5: Privacy Policy & Terms and Conditions
Your Privacy Policy must clearly state that mobile opt-in agreements will NOT be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Privacy Policy Example:
"Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties."
Your Terms & Conditions must include:
- Brand name
- Types of messages users will receive
- Message frequency disclosure
- "Message and data rates may apply" disclosure
- Opt-out instructions
- Customer care contact details
Terms and Conditions Example:
"Messaging Terms & Conditions
You agree to receive informational messages (appointment reminders, account notifications, etc.) from [Company Name]. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. For help, reply HELP or email us at [email address]. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP."
Ensure these policies are linked on your website and included in the registration form.
Step 6: Submit and Await Approval
After completing the form and providing all necessary details, submit your registration. Approval times may vary, so monitor your email for updates or requests for additional information.
The SMS approval process can take up to 3 weeks for review, vetting, and final approval.
By following these steps, you can avoid common rejection reasons and ensure a smooth registration process. If you have any questions, reach out to the OneCloud Support Team for assistance. 10DLC Registration Form
